RoHS compliance means that a product has been tested for 10 banned substances by an independent authority, and that the tests confirmed levels of the substances below the RoHS threshold. Under RoHS 3, the latest version of the RoHS directive, the 10 substances restricted are:
*Cadmium
*Lead
*Hexavalent chromium
*Mercury
*Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB)
*Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE)
*Bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP)
*Benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP)
*Dibutyl phthalate (DBP)
*Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP)
*All of these substances must be limited to 1,000 ppm except cadmium, which has a limit of 100 ppm.
What is the current RoHS standard?
RoHS 3 (EU 2015/863) expands the list of prohibited substances from six to ten by adding four new types of phthalates. This directive has been adopted by the EU legislature and came into full force on the 22nd of July 2019 until 2021
There are no federal restrictions in the US, but California has its own RoHS laws. These are set out in Health and Safety Code sections 25214.9-25214.10. 2 and the California Code of Regulations, Title 22, section 66260.202 and the Department of Toxic Substance Control (DTSC)
We are sure that our grow bags is in strictly accordance for American and European market.
BPA
What is BPA and why is it harmful?
BPA is a chemical that is present in hard plastics, including drinking water bottles and many household items. Research has shown that exposure to BPA can disrupt the functioning of the endocrine system. However, the levels of exposure in most people's daily lives are unlikely to result in serious harm.
Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. These chemicals can be in the products that Californians purchase, in their homes or workplaces, or that are released into the environment.
Our fabric pots are strictly passed California proposition 65, BPA free testing.
TSCA
What is TSCA compliance?
The Toxic Substances Control Act of 1976 (TSCA) is a federal regulation that allows the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to comprehensively manage chemicals in U.S. commerce. TCSA Compliance can require companies to restrict and remove substances from products to maintain U.S. market access
The fabric grow bags are strictly passed Persistent, Bioaccumulative, and Toxic (PT) Chemicals -- according to final rules issued by EPA as required under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) with its amendments
BSCI
What is the full meaning of BSCI?

GRS
What does it mean to be GRS certified?
The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is an international, voluntary, full product standard that sets requirements for third-party certification of Recycled Content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices, and chemical restrictions.
The RCS verifies the presence and amount of recycled material in a final product. This happens through input and chain-of-custody verification from a third party. It allows for the transparent, consistent and comprehensive independent evaluation and verification of recycled material content claims on products.
